Pattern: Cable Trench Toque

This pattern was designed for Yarn Traveler & Haberdashery: This roomy slouchy toque is worked with a cabled (K2, P2) rib.  The crown of the toque is shaped with a twist. The ribbed brim is 8 1/2 inches for a more slouchier look or you can roll the brim up for a more fitted cap. This style of toque was inspired by the trench caps from the two World Wars.  The yarn is from Lichen and Lace, Superwash Merino Worsted, a warm and soft yarn for winter wear.

Dimensions: Brim is 8 1/2 deep and 7 1/2 inches at rest. Total length from brim to crown tip is 12 1/4 inches. 

Size: Medium (22 inch) plus head circumference.  This toque has a very roomy fit for small to large.
