Welcome Lichen and Lace to YT&H

Welcome Lichen and Lace to YT&H

Jennifer K. Hanrahan

Lichen and Lace has arrived!

After many years in Calgary my family and I made it East to Nova Scotia for a family get together for three weeks. My husband who is British made plans with his sister, so they'd meet us halfway from the UK in Atlantic Canada. The family vacation was excellent and I was first introduced to Lichen and Lace yarn (Sunburnt lobster). That was in 2015. We've been on the Northshore, Nova Scotia now for three years and I've had the great pleasure of sampling more yarn from Lichen and Lace as well as different weights.

This is what Sunburnt Lobster looked like in 2017. I hadn't finished the shawl and had to pick up another skein and it had changed slightly but the difference was very complimentary. As you can see below the new colour has less purple in it but this adds to the final look. I'm very happy to welcome Lichen and Lace to Yarn Traveler & Haberdashery and look forward to

Me and a box of yarn! What a knitter or crocheter see when they look at a box of yarn? We see a 3 skein shawl, one skein to be added to another shawl in the works, three toques, and two fedoras.
