Introductions are in order....
The beginning of this journey starts many years ago with a mitten pattern hand written by my mother. There I learn to cast on & bind off, knit, purl, kfb, k2tog, rib and the difference between stockinette and garter. Simple stitches for a 10 year old girl to play with. As time marched on and I traveled in Europe in my 20s I learned to crochet in a Youth Hostel in the Lake District, UK. When I came home I started to knit again and when I started having children in my 30s I realized that it was time to think outside of the box. I found myself in my 40s far too quickly and that's where I started to teach knitting/crocheting at local coffee shops. Now that that I'm almost in my 50s it seem the perfect time to open an online yarn store full of local indie dyed yarn and hand crafted needles with a haberdashery full of unique items to finish any projects your way.
